How To Get Bigger Shoulders And Arms

Want to know how to get bigger shoulders and arms? I having been using a great routine that is getting good results on my arms and shoulders. The method that this routine uses is more frequency and volume of work on the arms and shoulders.

What I will show first of all is the shoulders and arms workout, the an explanation of how to do a weekly routine with this after.

How To Get Bigger Shoulders And Arms – Workout

1 – Shoulder Press: 4 (sets) x 6-8 (reps)
2 – Hammer Biceps Curl: 3 x 6-8
3 – Side Lateral Raise: 3 x 10-12
4 – Barbell Biceps Curl: 3 x 10-12
5 – Front Lateral Raise: 3 x 10-12
6 – Dumbbell Biceps Twist Curl : 3 x 10-12

How To Get Bigger Shoulders And Arms – Explanation

The workout above is fairly self explanatary but I will give you some extra notes to help you.

You can pair the exercises together if you like to decrease the workout time (but do not have to). This is where you go back and forth between two exercises. For example: for 1 & 2 you start of by doing a set of shoulder presses, rest, then do a set of hammer curls, rest then go back to shoulder presses. And so on, until all sets are completed. Alternating sets are great because they let you do more work in less time, while also giving the targeted muscle groups more recovery time. They are also great to get the heart rate up for an extra cardio and fat burning kick.

How Does This Fit Into A Weekly Routine?

When using the above workout to get bigger shoulder and arms, you will also need to be doing 1-2 full body workouts per week as well. It can be tempting just to do the shoulders and arms, but you will get better results adding in the full body workout. How many times per week you workout and what workouts you do will depend on your own time and preference.

I am doing two full body workouts on mondays and fridays, with the workout shown above on wednesdays with great results. You could do the workout above on mondays and fridays with a full body workout in between if you like. Whatever suits you best is the best routine here really.
